Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting for Granite Ridge Apartments to Take Place May 15

What: Eden Housing and For the Future Housing, in partnership with the City of Fremont, will host the grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration of the Granite Ridge Apartments. This newly constructed community will be home to 73 low-income families, as well as 15 households exiting homelessness.

This community will enrich the greater Fremont area and represents the City’s steadfast commitment to ensuring all residents have a safe, affordable place to call home. It will serve as a beacon of opportunity, providing Eden’s robust resident services offerings such as wellness, career, education and financial literacy programming.

The celebration will take place during May’s National Affordable Housing Month, with participation from local, county and state elected officials.

About Granite Ridge Apartments:

The Granite Ridge Apartments are located in Fremont at the corner of Sequoia Road and Paseo Padre Parkway. The townhouse-style community with upstairs and downstairs will feature 32 one-bedroom, 22 two-bedroom, and 19 three-bedroom rental apartment homes. Units will be leased to households earning 20% to 60% of the area median income, equivalent to an annual income of $22,860 to $68,580 for a two-person household.

The apartments will feature several amenities including a community center, computer lab, playground, on-site laundry facility, bicycle storage, covered parking and more.
