The Magnolias is a 66-unit affordable development that will offer homes to 65 low-income households, including 28 units for farmworker households, 16 units for people who are experiencing homelessness, 10 units for people at risk of homelessness, and 7 units for veterans. Located on a 1.53-acre site, just north of downtown, the site is on one of the main thoroughfares in Morgan Hill, accessible by public transportation, and is in close proximity to neighborhood amenities, including public parks, grocery stores, and schools.
The development consists of one onsite manager’s unit and 65 affordable housing units for households with earnings of 30% to 50% area median income (AMI). The project includes 15 studios, 16 one-bedrooms, 17 two-bedrooms, and 18 three-bedrooms. It will also offer onsite amenities, including a computer lab, community room, rooftop terrace, community garden, a fitness area, and playground.
