community meetings

The project team held three virtual community workshops during the summer of 2021. Non-project participants included nearby neighbors, members of the IDD community, and City of Palo Alto staff. Workshop 1 included project team introductions, project overview, activities to learn about the communities’ lived experiences, and an open Q&A. Workshop 2 followed up with receiving feedback on design solutions to address topics from Workshop 1 and brainstorming of project stakeholders. Lastly, Workshop 3 shared the updated design, how feedback from previous meetings was incorporated, and a designated time for feedback and questions.
