Property Description

Located one-half mile north of downtown Vallejo, Blue Oak Landing (formerly Sacramento Street Apartments) is a new apartment community that provides high-quality affordable housing to lower-income households. The development consists of 74 rental apartments for households earning between 20% and 40% of the area median income, equivalent to an annual income of $17,000 to $35,000 for a two-person household. One of the units is set aside for a live-in property manager. Blue Oak Landing is Eden Housing’s first modular construction project and is two four-story buildings including a mix of studios, one-bedroom units, and two-bedroom units.

All of the units serve individuals, couples, and families currently experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of experiencing homelessness. Blue Oak Landing uses a Housing First approach and will provide on-site resident services and case management. The ground level of the building includes a property management office for the full-time property manager, as well as offices for the resident services team. Case management is provided by Solano County, Health and Social Services, Behavior Health, as well as Caminar, an experienced social service provider who also operates Resource Connect Solano, Solano County’s Coordinated Entry System. The property also includes amenities such as a computer learning center, community room with a fully equipped kitchen, hot room, laundry facilities, and an outdoor courtyard with planters.

The building is designed with sustainability in mind, with rooftop solar panels, all electrical design, and indoor bike parking. The building is expected to be Green Point Gold certified.
