About La Avenida

Located on the corner of La Avenida Avenue and Armand Drive and across the street from Microsoft’s corporate campus, La Avenida Apartments will bring new affordable homes to the City of Mountain View. This development will ensure that the lower-income workforce, people with disabilities, and those on fixed incomes can continue to live and work in the City of Mountain View, as well as help balance the jobs to housing ratio in the North Bayshore region. La Avenida also seeks to help address the homelessness crisis by providing permanent supportive housing to individuals experiencing homelessness in Mountain View.

The ground level of the apartment building will be dedicated to supportive services – such as health and wellness, career, education and financial literacy programming – to help ensure residents succeed in their new homes. Amenity spaces will include a community room that opens onto a landscaped open space, a computer room and laundry facilities.

Funding and sponsors for La Avenida: City of Mountain View, County of Santa Clara, Santa Clara County Housing Authority, California Tax Credit Allocation Committee, California Debt Limit Allocation Committee, California Municipal Finance Authority, Wells Fargo, California Community Reinvestment Corporation, Housing Trust of Silicon Valley, California Energy Commission and The Home Depot Foundation.
