– New 79-home community includes 20 apartments dedicated to formerly homeless seniors and individuals with chronic health needs –
What: Eden Housing is celebrating the grand opening of Timber Senior Apartments, a new 79-unit affordable housing development for seniors in Newark. The grand opening falls during both Affordable Housing Month and NeighborWorks Week, which recognize the importance of building affordable and stable communities. Units are affordable to households earning up to 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI), with 20 homes specifically reserved for formerly homeless seniors or individuals living with chronic medical or behavioral health conditions.
