“We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome Rudy into his new position as chairman,” said Linda Mandolini, president and CEO of Eden Housing. “His deep experience in human services and in San Diego, a region we serve, will be invaluable to Eden as we continue our ambitious goal to create 10,000 affordable homes within a decade. We deeply appreciate Jim’s service over the past four years as head of our board, and look forward to his continued contributions as a board member.”

Remarking on his new appointment, Johnson said “I am honored to continue serving the Eden Housing community as chairman, supporting the organization’s goal of significantly increasing housing for low-income Californians. I am also looking forward to helping steward the organization in all four corners of its strategic plan, from development to resident services.”
In addition to his leadership at NHA, Johnson is also member of the San Diego Foundation Board of Governors, The San Diego Foundation Black Community Investment Fund Advisory Council, the SDG&E Customer Advisory Council, and CONNECT—San Diego Black Leaders.
