Chief of Strategy and Capability
As Chief of Strategy and Capability, Meg assists the Eden board and leadership team to connect strategy to organizational goals, and helps ensure that the right people, tools, systems and processes are in place for expedient growth and robust organizational health.
Meg joined Eden Housing in August 2018 from Covia, a non-profit who manages continuing care retirement and affordable housing senior communities and many programs focused on mitigating isolation and coordinating services for older adults.
Meg brings more than 30 years of experience in hospitality, healthcare and technology at both for-profit and non-profit environments, including Kaiser Permanente and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. She has earned the designation of SPHR from the Human Resource Certification Institute, holds a Residential Care for the Elderly (RCFE) license from California Social Services, and is certified by the City of Oakland with (CORE) Emergency Planning & Response Level III. She has served as a board member for Meals on Wheels of Alameda County, Canine Companions for Independence, and The Volunteer Center of Alameda County.
Meg earned her Bachelor’s degree from the School of Hotel (Business) Management at Cornell University, in Ithaca, NY.
