Lewis Jordan, an accomplished housing authority executive director, leads the Housing Authority of the County of Marin, the agency serves over 3,200 households and has an annual budget of 50 million dollars. In this role Lewis seeks to further develop and implement processes and procedures to improve financial viability of the agency by creating and nurturing community and stakeholder relationships. Partnering with other businesses, government entities as well as community-based organizations, such as schools, job training, religious organizations, foundations and health care agencies, the Marin Housing Authority will be better positioned to address systemic issues relating to generational poverty and aging in place. As a former public housing resident, Lewis understands both the issues and opportunities residents often face.
